| Active | The Vitruvian Poems Manuscript — unpublished | Full-length poetry collection in manuscript, built around a single governing idea: Leonardo da Vinci's Vitruvian figure reread not as an ideal to strive toward, but as evidence that every body is already proportionate to itself. The collection moves in an arc from enclosure to exposure. Research and writing for the final section will take place during a residency at Buckfast Abbey, following a preceding stop in Venice. It is supported by three previously published poems from the back catalogue: "Lamb", "Frankincense I", and "Kitchen Rules". Subject of Creative Australia Arts Projects application. |
